How members pay with PayPal

No CMS login for members — just a secure personal link you send by SMS or email. Eden Admin supports two kinds of online pay link.

Membership pay link

Use Send SMS or Send Email with a {membershipPayLink} placeholder. Each payable member gets their own URL with the correct single or linked family fee.

Donation & other payment links

Use {paymentPayLink} and choose a payment type your church has configured — for example Donation, Building fund, or Sacrament. The member enters how much to pay (minimum $1).

Church setup Set membership fees, add your payment types in Admin, and connect your church PayPal account.
Send a pay link In Send SMS or Send Email, pick Membership or Other payment type, insert the matching placeholder, and send to selected members.
Member pays online They open the link, see their name, enter an amount (for donations) or confirm the fixed fee (for membership), and pay with PayPal on phone or computer.
Automatic recording Payment is saved in the CMS. Membership links also extend expiry 12 months; other types are recorded against the payment type you chose when sending.

How is pricing calculated?: One subscription per church, based on the number of active members. Children are not included in the band.
How does SMS billing work?: You pay 5c (AUD $0.05) for each SMS sent through the system, on top of your monthly platform fee.
Is there a setup fee?: Yes. A one-time setup charge applies when we import your existing members, payments, and collections. The price depends on how much data you have and how it is collected — contact us for a quote.
Do members need an account to pay online?: No. They only need the personal payment link you send by SMS or email.
Who receives PayPal payments?: Your church's own PayPal account. Eden Admin does not hold member funds.
Can we send PayPal links for donations, not just membership?: Yes. In Send SMS or Send Email, choose Other payment type, select a type such as Donation, and use the {paymentPayLink} placeholder. The member enters the amount on the pay page (minimum $1). Membership links use {membershipPayLink} with a fixed fee.
Can we still record cash, cheque, or EFTPOS?: Yes. Manual payment methods work alongside online PayPal pay for membership and other types.
